This is a rustic manor house in the “lake district” of the Extremadura. Castilblanco is an ancient hilltop village in the east of the province surrounded by 5 big reservoirs.

The house has been extensively and expansively renovated by a German/American couple.

The house is organised around a big central courtyard and consists of 4 completely renovated, individual units all with there own kitchen or Kitchenette, bathroom etc.

To solve the usual damp problem of old stone houses the house has been “electrocuted”

that is a copperwiring of low voltage has been installed in the bottom walls of the entire house and thus prevents humidity of crawling up. Very tasteful renovation throughout with preservation of original features. Must be seen.

Situated in the center of the village on a nice square with palm trees the house is totally private and tranquil through its inward, Moorish style organisation and the relaxed quietness of the village.

PRICE: € 650.000.- including an orchard within the village but not right next to the house – as well as furniture of very good quality.
